We are a UK Charity organization registered in England and Wales (No. 1096887) with the name MOLVI EBRAHIM MULLA FOUNDATION (MEMF) established in 2002.
MEMF runs and maintains a 130-beds Mulla Hospital in Navsari, Gujarat, India that has been serving humanity since 19 years. This hospital is expanded by 18,000 sq. ft. in January 2023, additional 2 nd floor for full-fledge Cardiology Department for heart specialty to provide heart related treatment for poor people who can’t afford to pay for their medical operations.
Last year approximately £200,000 was spent on their medical needs including Check-Ups, Scans, Medication and Operations through donation funds. Also this hospital was in the forefront at the time of pandemic and offered treatment to people affected with Covid-19.
We have taken up a new project to build another hospital in Saharanpur, UP, India. Saharanpur District has a large population of poor people of all religions, caste and creed. There is no such hospital or medical facility available in that locality for those local people who have to travel long distances in order to get medical service and treatment. The hospital will be greatly beneficial to the local community and all surrounding areas.
This project cost is approximately £3 Million, 2.8 Acres of land was purchased (117,000 Sq. Ft.). Planning has been approved and building work has started. As Covid-19 hit every businesses and individuals due to which there were monetary and fund problems in order to complete the construction of the hospital. Upto now over £1 Million has been spent and further £2 Million is required for the construction and machinery/medical equipment.
None of our success would be possible without generous donors. We know you have a lot of choices when it comes to donating, your generosity means everything to us and to the community we serve. Thank you for your contribution and kindness in making this possible and bringing happiness in peoples’ life.
Vision
Medical treatment has become very expensive. The poor people cannot afford it. So there is no question of prompt treatment for their illnesses. They go for medical treatment only when their illnesses become serious and go out of hand. If the medical treatment is available at affordable cost they could be saved from lots of misery. Our principle is Health-For-All that means health to be brought within the reach of everyone.
